The idea for this song was sparked by a dance I had with an old high school flame at a reunion of some sort. She had gone on with her life and I, of course, had mine; but when we danced there was still something in her eyes that “made time go by”! The harmonica was played by 72 year old legend Bob Higgins. The vocal track was recorded virtually as one take.
